Growing Experience, Growing Food...

    Hey! My name is Sam Gordon! I grew up in Orlando and eventually found a dream of "growing up" vegetable and fruit gardens here in my hometown.

    As a kid I considered farming plants boring. In 2018, my freshman year at the University of Florida, a plant class unexpectedly ignited a pretty huge change in my life. Now, I see vegetable farming as a hobby which affords me clean food, exercise, and outdoor time. Today with over 5 years of experience as a recreational "Orlandoan" farmer and 2 years of experience doing it professionally, I want to help my city embrace the heat and take on their homesteading dream of managing a successful garden.
